Equipt is operated by CORE25 PTY LTD (ABN 81 700 737 604), referred to in this Privacy Policy as “Core25”, “we”, “us” or “our”.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Equipt application and website.
Your Privacy
Equipt is designed with privacy in mind.
Information you enter into the Equipt app remains on your device. Equipt does not transmit your discipleship records, progress information or personal information to Core25 or to third parties.
We do not operate a central database containing your discipleship information.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your information for advertising.
We do not track you across other apps or websites.
Information Stored in Equipt
Depending on how you use the app, information stored locally on your device may include:
Names of people you are discipling, discipleship progress, completed conversation topics, reminder preferences and other information you choose to enter into the app.
This information is stored for the purpose of providing Equipt's functionality.
Because Equipt is a Christian discipleship application, information entered into the app may directly or indirectly indicate religious beliefs or religious affiliation.
This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to Core25.
Information About Other People
If you enter information about another person into Equipt, you are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate reason, permission or authority to record that information.
We encourage users to collect only the information that is reasonably necessary for the discipleship relationship.
Children and Young People
Equipt may be used in discipleship relationships involving young people.
If you record information about a person under 18, you are responsible for ensuring that you have any consent or authority required from a parent, guardian, church or other responsible organisation.
Local Notifications
If you enable reminders, Equipt may use Apple's local notification functionality to display reminders on your device.
Local notifications are scheduled and managed by your device and do not require Equipt to send your discipleship information to an external notification service.
Data Sharing
Core25 does not receive, sell or share the discipleship information stored within Equipt.
Equipt does not transmit this information to advertising networks, analytics companies or other third parties.
Data Security
Because your Equipt information is stored locally, the security of that information also depends on the security of your device.
We recommend using the security features provided by your device, including a passcode, Face ID or Touch ID where available.
Data Retention
Information stored in Equipt remains on your device until you remove it through the app, reset the relevant information or remove the application and its associated data.
Core25 cannot remotely recover or delete information that exists only on your device.
Deleting Your Information
You can remove information you have entered into Equipt using the application's available deletion or reset functions.
Deleting the Equipt app may also remove locally stored Equipt data from your device, subject to the behaviour of your device and any backups you independently maintain.
Because Core25 does not hold a copy of your locally stored discipleship information, we cannot restore that information after it has been deleted.
Website Information
The Equipt website may receive ordinary technical information required to deliver a website over the internet, such as requests made to the web server.
Information entered into the Equipt iOS application is separate from the website and is not transmitted to the website.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if Equipt changes or if legal requirements change.
The latest version will always be available on the Equipt website.
