These Terms of Use apply to your use of Equipt, a Christian discipleship application operated by CORE25 PTY LTD (ABN 81 700 737 604).
By using Equipt, you agree to these Terms.
About Equipt
Equipt is designed to help Christians facilitate intentional discipleship conversations and keep track of discipleship progress.
Equipt provides structure and prompts for discipleship. It does not replace personal relationships, pastoral leadership, counselling or professional advice.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for how you use Equipt and for information you choose to enter into the application.
You must use Equipt lawfully, responsibly and respectfully.
Information About Other People
You must not record personal or sensitive information about another person unless you have an appropriate reason, permission or authority to do so.
You are responsible for ensuring that information you record about another person is appropriate for the discipleship relationship.
Local Data
Information entered into Equipt is stored locally on your device.
Core25 does not receive or maintain a copy of your discipleship records.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security and backups for your device.
Core25 is not responsible for information lost because of device loss, device damage, deletion, operating system changes or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Intellectual Property
The Equipt application, Equipt branding, design, software and original written material are owned by or licensed to CORE25 PTY LTD unless otherwise stated.
You may use Equipt for its intended personal, ministry or church-related purposes.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell or commercially exploit Equipt or its proprietary content except where permitted by law or with our written permission.
Scripture and Third-Party Content
Bible translations and other third-party materials displayed within Equipt remain the property of their respective copyright holders and are used subject to applicable permissions and licence terms.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of third-party material to Core25.
Service Availability
We may update, modify, add or remove Equipt features over time.
We do not guarantee that Equipt will always operate without interruption, error or incompatibility with future devices or operating system versions.
Appropriate Use
You must not use Equipt to break the law, harass or harm another person, exploit a child or vulnerable person, impersonate another person, interfere with the operation or security of the application, introduce malicious software or attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or information.
Disclaimer
Equipt is provided as a tool to support Christian discipleship.
The content within Equipt is provided for general discipleship and educational purposes and should be considered within the context of Scripture, your local church and appropriate pastoral leadership.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Core25 is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of Equipt.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The current version will be published on the Equipt website with its effective date.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
